It sort of fit our moods because we had just learned that Kathy had died and we were depressed. There were TONS of lightning strikes and thunder.

It was a sad and scary morning.
That is an amazing photo...so sorry you all had to deal with all of that on your way home.

It was really scary. It felt as though any minute we would be struck, we were right in the middle of it. It did seem to fit our mood though.
Weird that our trip started with a huge storm and ended with that one! Thanks for all your help in my car that day! it was pretty theraputic to talk about Kath all day!
All I can say is "Oh My Gosh!!" hubby runs off the golf course if lightening is anywhere in the vicinity-- and that strike was--- O My gosh.!My heart went to my stomach when I saw that picture.
